Very large monthly telecoms invoices were being paid without understanding what was being paid for and consequently whether there were any discrepancies in the billing as well as paying for lines no longer required.
Carried out a detailed review of the current telecom spend and produced a detailed analysis of current spend.
This gave clear visibility of where the main spend areas were so that it could be bench marked. There then followed a rationalisation of the telecoms network. Management reports were produced before, during and after the project so as management could clearly see what savings had been achieved
Telecoms spend reduced from £2.6M down to £1.6M over a 2 year period, saving the organisation £1M per annum going forward.
